White and blue kitchen: a design full of light and harmony in Caleta de Vélez

Every project we undertake at our kitchen store in Malaga is an opportunity to create inspiring spaces that make everyday life more comfortable and reflect the personality of those who live there. On this occasion, we traveled to Caleta de Vélez to create a white and blue kitchen that stands out for its balance of functionality, aesthetics, and comfort.

The result is an elegant, modern, and bright kitchen, where every detail—from the choice of materials to the arrangement of outlets and appliances—has been carefully thought out to offer a complete experience.

A kitchen design conceived for enjoyment

From the beginning, the goal was clear: to create a space where aesthetics and functionality coexisted in harmony. The combination of matte HPL fronts and a matte lacquered door was key to achieving this. This choice provides a sense of serenity and visual balance, while offering durable and easy-to-maintain surfaces.

Matte HPL is a highly resistant material, ideal for everyday use, while the lacquered doors add a touch of elegance that transforms the kitchen into a designer space. Together, they create a soft and contemporary visual composition, with clean lines and an impeccable finish.

The distinctive touch comes from the color: a subtle combination of white and blue, which brings freshness and calm to the environment. White visually expands the space and enhances natural light, while blue introduces depth and character without being overwhelming. The result is a modern kitchen with a relaxing and timeless feel.

Integrated Door Openers: Functionality Without Sacrificing Design

One of the most important aspects of this white and blue kitchen is its door opening system. For the base units, a system integrated directly into the door was chosen, eliminating traditional handles and helping to maintain the overall visual cleanliness.

For the wall units, however, the Gola system was used, a recessed profile that allows the doors to be opened comfortably, also providing an elegant and modern finish. This combination offers the best of both worlds: ergonomics and aesthetics, with a practical and balanced result.

Furthermore, eliminating protruding elements promotes design continuity and makes cleaning easier, essential in a kitchen where every surface counts.

Techlam Basic Ice porcelain countertop: strength and purity

The 2 cm Techlam Basic Ice porcelain countertop is one of the most striking elements of this project. This material, known for its strength and durability, is perfect for those looking for a kitchen that will stand the test of time without sacrificing aesthetics.

Its ice white hue blends seamlessly with the fronts, providing visual continuity and an effect of purity and spaciousness. Furthermore, its surface is resistant to high temperatures, impacts, and scratches, making it a practical choice for everyday use.

The 2 cm thickness results in a slim and elegant countertop, in line with the latest trends in kitchen design. This choice reinforces the feeling of lightness and modernity that defines this white and blue kitchen.

Details that make a difference: integrated outlets

One aspect that often goes unnoticed but makes a huge difference in everyday life is the utility outlets. In this kitchen, a vertical system of four stainless steel outlets has been installed, perfectly integrated into the countertop.

This solution offers great convenience, allowing small appliances to be connected without disrupting the overall aesthetic. Furthermore, its retractable design allows them to be hidden away when not in use, keeping the countertop clear and tidy.

These details reflect Idecocina’s philosophy: combining design and functionality in every project, taking care of even the smallest elements to achieve an impeccable result.

AEG and Balay appliances: technology and style

A modern kitchen is incomplete without quality appliances, and in this case, the choice of AEG and Balay guarantees performance, efficiency, and durability. Both manufacturers are leaders in innovation and design, which fits perfectly with the spirit of this project.

Each appliance has been selected based on both aesthetic and functional criteria. Its integration into the cabinetry maintains visual uniformity, and its finishes complement the kitchen’s neutral tones, reinforcing the sense of balance and coherence.

The combination of advanced technology and elegant design allows for a practical, modern, and everyday kitchen, without sacrificing the overall beauty.

Lighting: Warmth and Functionality

Lighting is another cornerstone of this project. In this white and blue kitchen, the light has been carefully distributed to ensure
