White and Grey Kitchen: Spaciousness, Elegance, and Functionality in Rincón de la Victoria
At Idecocina, every renovation is an opportunity to transform spaces, enhance quality of life, and make the most of every square metre. In this latest project, carried out by our kitchen studio in Málaga, located in an apartment in Rincón de la Victoria, we’ve completed a full kitchen renovation by unifying the laundry room and the former kitchen into one functional, elegant, and bright space.
The result? A white and grey kitchen with a contemporary design, plenty of storage, generous work areas, and smart solutions that improve everyday life.
A New Open Space: Goodbye to Separate Kitchen and Laundry Room
The original layout of the home featured a traditional kitchen separated from the laundry area. Both rooms were independent, limiting natural light, reducing functionality, and restricting the overall design. Thanks to a well-planned renovation, the wall dividing the two was removed to create a fully open and much more spacious environment.
This merging of spaces allows for better flow and visual connection with the rest of the home, while also bringing a sense of continuity that makes this white and grey kitchen feel more expansive and modern from every angle.
Glossy White Fronts: Light and Design
One of the highlights of the project is the glossy white finish on the cabinet fronts. This colour not only reflects natural and artificial light beautifully, but also visually expands the space, making the kitchen feel much more open and bright.
The high-quality, durable fronts feature integrated handles that enhance the kitchen’s clean, minimalist, and contemporary look. This choice improves both aesthetics and practicality, avoiding protruding elements and creating a sleek, continuous surface that’s pleasant to the eye and easy to clean.
Grey Luxe Interiors: The Perfect Contrast
To complement the glossy white exteriors, the interiors of the cabinets have been finished in Grey Luxe, a sophisticated tone that adds depth and character. This contrast is one of the key elements of the design, giving the kitchen a clear identity without overwhelming it.
The combination of white on the outside and grey on the inside reinforces the concept of an elegant and contemporary kitchen, where every detail has been thoughtfully designed to balance functionality and style. This white and grey kitchen strikes the perfect harmony between neutral tones and strong personality.
Armani Silver Porcelain Worktop: Durability and Distinction
To complete the design, an Armani Silver porcelain worktop has been installed. This cutting-edge material is not only resistant to impacts, scratches, and high temperatures but also adds a refined finish.
Its grey tone with subtle silver hints provides a touch of sophistication that fits perfectly with the rest of the design. In addition, the worktop continues up the wall as a backsplash using the same material, ensuring visual continuity and eliminating unnecessary joints and transitions.
As a distinctive feature, no cut-outs were made in the porcelain for sockets. Instead, two vertical stainless steel power strips with four sockets each were installed, offering a clean and modern solution that’s both practical and stylish.
Integrated Lighting: Functionality and Atmosphere
Lighting plays a key role in this kitchen. LED lights have been integrated underneath the upper cabinets to illuminate the entire work surface efficiently and without harsh shadows.
Beyond functionality, this lighting system creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere—perfect for cooking, enjoying a quiet breakfast, or hosting an evening meal with friends. Well-planned lighting enhances the kitchen experience, and in this case, it’s fully tailored to the needs of the space.
Integrated Breakfast Cabinet: Smart Solutions
One of the most functional and visually appealing features of this project is the integrated breakfast cabinet. It offers a convenient space for preparing breakfast, setting down kitchen items, or even grabbing a quick bite.
It is seamlessly built into the design, preserving the overall visual harmony and proving that at Idecocina, we focus on every detail to improve functionality without compromising style.
Balay Appliances: Efficiency and Innovation
The kitchen is equipped with Balay appliances—a brand known for its reliability, energy efficiency, and user-friendly features. From the oven to the hob, every piece was chosen based on both aesthetics and practicality, making everyday life easier and maintenance simpler.
Their stainless-steel finish pairs perfectly with the white and grey tones of the kitchen, giving it a professional and contemporary feel.
Full-Height Cabinetry: Maximising Storage
Another key aspect of this white and grey kitchen is the full-height cabinetry. Extending the upper cabinets to the ceiling not only increases storage capacity but also enhances the linear aesthetic of the design.
This approach avoids dead space above the cabinets, making cleaning easier and contributing to a tidier, more elegant appearance.

Every design decision in this kitchen was made to offer the best in functionality, style, and durability. The combination of glossy white and Grey Luxe, high-end finishes, optimised space distribution, and thoughtful details—like the seamless backsplash and vertical power strips—make this one of our favourite projects.
The homeowner has gained a completely new kitchen space—larger, brighter, and more connected to the rest of the apartment. A full transformation that reflects our philosophy: creating kitchens that improve people’s lives and adapt to every space and need.
